SureWorx builds the assurance platform for battery energy storage systems. Trust is the product, and that starts with how we treat your information. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have, whether you're visiting this website or using the SureWorx platform.

01Who we are

SureWorx ("we", "us") provides software for the people who own, build and insure critical infrastructure, with teams in Sydney and Melbourne. For personal information collected through this website and our platform, SureWorx is the entity responsible under applicable privacy law. You can reach us at privacy@sureworx.io.

02What we collect on this website

• Contact details you give us. Name, work email, company and role when you request a demo, contact us or subscribe to updates.
• Usage information. Pages visited, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, collected only if you accept optional analytics cookies.
• Correspondence. Anything you send us by email or through a form.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.

03Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site work (for example, remembering your cookie choice itself) and, only with your consent, optional analytics cookies to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer. Declining analytics never limits what you can see or do on this site.

04Data in the SureWorx platform

Our customers use the SureWorx platform to run safety, quality, asset, procurement and compliance workflows. In that context the customer, typically the asset owner or contractor, controls the data, and SureWorx processes it on their instructions under our customer agreements. Platform records may include names, roles, licences, inductions, signoffs and site activity of project personnel.

• Purpose-bound. Platform data is used to deliver the service, never for advertising.
• Provenance-sealed. Records are hashed and chain-linked for tamper-evidence; access is logged.
• Customer-directed. Access, correction and deletion requests for platform data are fulfilled with and through the customer who controls the record.

05Data residency & sovereignty

Critical infrastructure deserves software that respects data residency and regulatory posture. Australian and New Zealand customer platform data is hosted in-region by default. Where data must move (for example, support access), it does so under contractual safeguards consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles, the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and, where applicable, the UK/EU GDPR.

• To respond when you ask for a demo or contact us.
• To operate, secure and improve this website and the platform.
• To send product and company updates you've asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• To meet legal, audit and security obligations.

07Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business (hosting, scheduling, email, analytics), under contracts that limit use to our instructions; with professional advisers where required; and with authorities when the law demands it. We list no data brokers, and there are none.

08Security & retention

We apply the same discipline to our own systems that we sell to our customers: encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, logging, and independent review. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as law requires, then delete or de-identify it.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email privacy@sureworx.io and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unsatisfied, you can complain to your local regulator, in Australia, the OAIC; in New Zealand, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner; in the UK, the ICO.

10Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the version and date above. Material changes are flagged on this page and, for platform customers, notified under your agreement.
